| Mr Kingsley Lungu left handing over two netbooks to Young Samanyika President of MEHA |
Malawi Environmental Health Association (MEHA) is a professional body that has just been revived. Being an organisation that is in its infancy stage, it obviously needs support in various forms ranging from technical to resources. MEHA is therefore expressing its gratitude and appreciation to Royal Environmental Health Institute of Scotland (REHIS) and its entire membership for always coming forward to supporting it. REHIS has assisted MEHA in so many ways. REHIS arranged visits for some of MEHA members to visit Scotland and get exposed on, among other things, role of Proffesional Bodies in protecting Public Health, and activities conducted by the Professional Bodies. This had a very big impact on Malawi as it has acted as our driving force and source of confidence for the revival of MEHA.
As if that was not enough, REHIS has yet made another important support to MEHA. REHIS has donated to MEHA two netbooks (lap top computers) as support to information management. This donation was on top of the support for website establishment. MEHA will therefore be able to manage its information and website easily thereby enhancing the development of the Association. It is for this reason that MEHA is grateful with REHIS.
On behalf of all MEHA members I would like launch the net books by posting this article on the website through one of it. The netbooks were procured and delivered through Professors Anthony Grimason and Mr Kingsley Lungu of University of Malawi.
I finally invite you all to a glimpse of the two new netbooks as Mr Kingsley Lungu is handing them over to Mr Young Samanyika, President of MEHA at Lilongwe hotel gardens.
